Did you buy the PPV?
Re: Did you buy the PPV?
No. I caught a bit of a stream, for the commentary as much as anything. Very glad I didn't buy the PPV.
As soon as I saw that first Prescott left hook that missed I thought Khan was right in the shit.

Re: Did you buy the PPV?
Yes. I really wasn't going to, but it was my younger son's sixteenth birthday party and he really wanted to see it, as did my old Dad who was here. And my 18-year-old son was keen.... so I gave in! And I really enjoyed it!

Nope. Internet job for me. Fukk giving allegedly my money for that pile of trash. Thankfully, the nature of the internet will see PPV numbers slowly dwindle. Well, that and Amir Khan's jaw.

Yes. And I would have been pissed if I didn't

Although I like Khan, this was satisfying as Fwankys PPV plans have truly gone to shit now. Who else has he got that he can turn into a PPV star? Khan won't be on PPV for a long time if ever now that the sparkle has gone, JC has gone, can't see Haye or Hatton ever dealing with him again.

The stream was good quality and free.lefthook82 wrote:Yes. And I would have been pissed if I didn't
I read on another site that there were 28K people watching one particular stream.
One the one I watched there were 7K so thats over £500K just on those 2 streams.
I don't think this show will have done well - Khans fans are kids and armchair fans really.
The next PPV will have to be £9.99 or less - not that there wil be another PPV.

Re: Did you buy the PPV?
I got it on a very good stream, good quality and good enough sound....
As the evenings events turned out, I wouldn't have begrudged the £15 at all.... but the nights events as a whole weren't exactly as we planned, or Fwank planned to serve up for the money.
All irrelevant now, as there can't, surely, be any more ppv for a while from SN...

Apparently its in his SKY contract that he has 4 more PPVs - I have no idea who he is going to have headlining UNLESS ITS A PRESCOTT REMATCH. Warren has options on Prescott.
I will tape it when the show it for free later in the week.

Re: Did you buy the PPV?
£250k - Amir Khan
£4k + flights, a tent, and some meal vouchers for a little chef - Skinny columbian chap
£15 - PPV...
The look on Mr Warrens face ...... you know the rest
I feel a little guilty this morning, I'm in such a happy, smug mood.... it that wrong
To be fair, I do feel a little bad for the lad, that's going to have hurt him a lot. People keep saying about buying into the hype etc - but he must have known he couldn't hold a shot. I wouldn't be surprised if this ruins him, mentally.... that'd be a shame. Still, he's already made a lot more money than 99% of good honest pros...

Any pics?Terry D wrote:No. Sky wouldn't let me. I went to the fight and downloaded it when I got home. I then staggered into the toilet and spray painted the walls. Woke up face down in a towel. I felt Ok until I got out into the open air.
It was worth it to see Big Aud' fight, plus he gave me ten rounds. Unified by 2009
Re: Did you buy the PPV?
I'm embarrassed to say that I ended up buying the PPV with a few mates. I'd made other plans (a poker game), so that it was impossible for me to watch the fight, but my mate who was hosting the game was throwing up so it got cancelled leaving me at a loose end.
The crowd were their usuall cruel selves when Audley was boxing, they'd clearly made their minds up that they were going to boo him before the fight started as they started the booing in the first round!! Thought Audley boxed OK, but as always he needs to be throwing more. Arias was a very difficult opponent to look good against though.
Cook-Arthur was a good fight, I would have won a fortune if Cook could have stopped him, unfortunately it wasn't to be. Cook clearly won it, so I don't what Arthur is moaning about.
I like Amir Khan and want him to do well, but I must admit to a wry smile and a smirk when he got KTFO in a minute, mainly due to him making us fork out 15 nicker to watch it. Hopefully that's put an end to this PPV nonsense (unless it's a top fight). Amir can comeback from this, but he needs to stop talking about World titles for the mo and go for the British and/or European titles. We've been saying I wonder what'll happen when Amirs in with a decent puncher, now we know. Well done Prescott!!
