KENYA COMMISSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by timebomb »

Hello
I am stunned at the level in which local politics can spread.I did a fight last week with a new organization and am stunned the resuklts were marked.
they are indicated that it was a non sanctioned fight.
My question is,why should this commission be never recognized.
this is what for instance led this country to almost the state of civil war in January when the general elections were flowed
one can always not grue with perfection.most of the boxers are happy to work with the commsion and the future seems to be right there
I can never imagine my self putting sun an expensive fight only for it not to be sanctioned on this records but here locally i paid for all the sanctioning fee and the legal expenses
It's high time we we need to come with reality and and accept the facts the way they are.

I respect the work boxrec does and with all due respect would even propose that they [boxrec] appoint an agent in each region
this way,it would always be earlier to verify results and even records of local boxers
In Africa things things tend to work differently.Sometimes rules are bent for some individuals to benefit.
this is a true reality and all Africans are aware of this
This is harsh reality that we lived with.
Before i became a promoter,i remember very well there no many promoters. It was always one fight each year and i am a true witness to that.
we had one commission that never had any elections!
Of late things have changed dramatically.Even in politics in Zimbabwe,we saw Mugabe share power with the opposition leader. It happened in Kenya before.
it's very bad for some to say that this commission is not recognized.
That's not good at all
We need to accept that FIBA Kenya is duly registered by the government of Kenya and will sanctioned many more matches o come
As a matter of fact, things are very good for FIBA KENYA as we are setto work with them in round 2.that's the 18th Oct 2008 card
If any one has a genuine reason as to why the fights sanctioned by the FIBA KENYA should be marked non sanctioned then they better give us the reason.
I in particular introduced other commission to boxrec and the rest of the world before.I remeber boxrec used to mark the fights not verified until we told the commission how to talk to boxrec.com
I have done the same here again to FIBA KENYA
My suggestion is .......please confirm and very the 27th sep 2008 card promoted by timebomb in Nairobi.

It's really healthy for boxing when we compete fairly but not hitting below the belt!!!

Gud day to all of you
good work boxrec
Big up guys!

So does it mean that the status of these fights shall be changed then?
Because this is why i am trying to plead with boxrec.
The welfare of the boxer!

As soon as the new commission receive accreditation from the Commonwealth Boxing Council I think we should recognise them.
