Punishment not stern enough in my view. What happens when the next person is arrested for carrying a knife & they don't suggest anything about making a donation? Do they get sent to prison because they cannot afford to make a substantial donation or because they were found in possession of a knife?Loynesy wrote:http://www.paisleydailyexpress.co.uk/re ... -21943540/
Hmmm...boxrec wrote:lol, they should ban everyone from nightclubs. It's the beacon of all violence. They should have checked everyone else for knives too!
So if someone attacks you with a cricket ball you're screwed?WildWaylon wrote:British justice is shit. The same rule should apply to all. If you carry a knife then you intend to use it. Using a knife on someone in a fight is attempted murder. Using a knife in self defense is no mitigation. I do however have a baseball bat just inside my front door.
A few years ago I had two con men trying to talk their way into my house. I revved up at the one in front of me and they left. I decided after that to have a baseball bat by the door just in case the same should happen again and they didnt just walk away. I believe in the right to defend yourself, your family and your property but carrying a weapon outside on the streets, pubs and clubs is another matter.DavidPayne wrote:So if someone attacks you with a cricket ball you're screwed?WildWaylon wrote:British justice is shit. So did Tony Martin when he splattered that dirty little gypsy and look where that got him, you're right British justice is a joke. The police in the US wouldn't bat an eyelid at an incident like that but over here? Oh no no no, you can't defend your home.WildWaylon wrote:I believe in the right to defend yourself, your family and your property
That's the spirit WW, don't let those prospective parliamentary candidates away with their BS.WildWaylon wrote: A few years ago I had two con men trying to talk their way into my house.
