This fight has been added to the October Birmingham show that features Don Broadhurst's challenge for the Commonwealth title.
Decent scrap in my opinion. A focused, fit Ajetovic can spring a mild upset.

Yep its very much a live fight for Macklin this one, as I posted on another thread:
18 months ago I would have said that match was a pick em but Ajetovic seems to have lost his ambition/motivation more recently - his undoubted talent alone cannot win him fights where his workrate is too low. Macklin will out work him, if not outbox him.

Kind of hoping that Macklin should be fighting a little better that Ajetovic who goes into sparring partner mode too frequently.... but its not bad.
Re: Macklin gets Ajetovic
It's okay if it's only a keep busy bout but Macklin was getting more exposure and headline level experience on the Brian Peters cards, so this new venture has been a step down so far IMO.

Two fighters with something in common. They always get found out when put in with someone half decent. Macklin's workrate has to be fancied to prevail on points.
