Strange and amusing. Why would Manny not pay the fees?

I love the daft quotes Sulaiman comes out with. He became famous fighting WBC champions! Like if there wasn't a WBC he'd be a nobody. Priceless

Well having belts like the WBC and IBF gave him the opportunities to become the big star he Is now though but this Is BS still. Why would he have to pay them for a non title fight? The state athletic commission can sanction referees and such anyway,

I think it must refer to fees payable for the Diaz fight not the Oscar fight

I guess Manny is beyond caring now but if he gets a beating from Oscar (hope not) at least the WBC 135 belt gives him more leverage for the next fight.

I'd love to see him fight Valero

Manny doesn't need belts any more - he's bigger than the sanctioning bodies and they know it. That's why they tried to screw him, if he dumps the belt, they can make coin without risking the belt becoming unified, which is a real pain for them as there are going to be fewer defences.

Stuff Suliaman, the fat penguin lookalike.

Have I missed something? Is this dosh owed from the Diaz fight or simply Jose trying to ring a bit more pocket money out of Pac-Man for a non-title fight?

Anyway, the word is Valero's fighting Mexican Antonio Pitalua for Manny's belt (oh, sorry, the interim versh), so why would Pacquiao want to pony up to keep something they're about to strip him of anyway?

Maybe they'll promote the DLH fight as being for the WBC Youth Interim Division-Jumping Title.

Sulaiman is a prick. Despite it's stature, the WBC is just as corrupt as any governing body.....

"The WBC is also insisting Pacquiao pays $100,000 (£63,000) within 15 days of his next fight, a non-title affair against Oscar De Le Hoya on 6 December, or face the same punishment."

How would that stick, seeing as it is not (to the best of my knowledge) a WBC sanctioned fight??
