VIPBoxing.com News - Moore back in action & Show News

Post by Stegsie »

JAMIE MOORE – Will box a 6 round contest in Dublin on the 18th December to keep him ticking over while he waits for his European title fight with Italian Michael Piccirillo to be sorted for the new year.

GARY DAVIES – Also boxes on the above bill when he steps up to challenge Martin Powers.

CHANNEL M – Tune in on Saturday the 15th November to SKY203 to watch the last VIP show which was from Leigh.

7TH NOVEMBER SHOW AT WIGAN

TONY QUIGLEY – Became the first person to stop the very durable Nathan King when the doctor advised the referee to end the fight before the 6th round began due to a nasty cut under the right eye. Tony hopes now to get a British Eliminator and a fight we would like is a derby with Tony Dodson.

MARK THOMPSON – Gave a very much improved performance stopping Craig Dixon in the 7th round of a very interesting scrap. Mark started off with a tight guard and continually punched the Scotsman back in the first few rounds dropping him at the end of the 2nd. To Craig’s credit he did get back into the fight during the middle rounds when Mark went on his back foot , but the sustain hurtful attacks from Mark were back in round 6 and finally enough for Craig by the 7th when the referee wisely stepped in to save him from further punishment.

KARL PLACE – Impressed again in only his second fight giving Carl Allen a good working over but failed in his efforts to stop the durable opponent.

MARK MORAN – Looked a bit flat in his points win over late sub Youseff Alhemedi . Mark never really got going in this fight but this can be expected after the disappointment of Esham Pickering pulling out of there proposed English title fight which we hope will still go ahead in the new year.

If it's in Italy, he's gonna have to, Leforge.
I'm really surprised this kid wasn't made an offer he couldn't refuse to avoid purse bids.
Hope it works out for Jamie.

I think he stop him, the Italian had much better days. I still wary after the Lynes loss to Branco. Why did they not stump the cash up to make it certain.

I see Ronald Hearns has cried off in his bout with John Duddy. I know Mooresy is hanging about for the Euro shot to be finalised, but him and Duddy would be a barn-burner.

The up coming purse bids crucial between a W or a L imo.
