Can anyone help with Jason Rowland's fights??

Post by metchampion »

Hi Guys (n' girls)

I work alongside former British Lightwelter Champ, Jason Rowland. I'd very much like to put together a collection of his fights on a set of DVD's for him for Christmas. - Of course I'm not after a freebie, but I'm really struggling to find someone who can help.

In particular, I'd like the Nigel Bradley, Mark Winters, Alan Temple, Jon Thaxton, Viktor Baranov & Ricky Hatton fights. Any others would be a real bonus.

Jason isn't one for coming on these forums, but all the same, if you guys do happen to bump into us at a show, please dont mention it in front of him.

Many thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give.

Yeah, I know she used to post. If she read what I'd written, she'd know it was me and wouldn't let on to him.

Thanks Ian, you're a star. As it happens, I already have the Hatton fight, it's just his others I'm a bit thin on the ground with. Ideally, I'd love to make him a really good collection in chronological order. Some of the tapes I've got, came from those that filmed them on the night and they're not of the greatest quality.

I have a VCR-DVD dubbing system, so they can be on tape if you like and I can pay the postage and make sure they come back to you in one piece, alternately, I could pay for copies... whatever you prefer.

Thanks for taking the time to help. Cheers mate.

Hi Guys,

Thanks, I already have the Fighters / real money video.

I was specifically after fight footage recorded from Sky / BBC / eurosport of as many of his fights as I can get hold of.

Regards Richard.

wow, I'm buying this. Didn't know these were coming out on DVD. Been waiting for Real Money for ages, and am ready to upgrade my vhs of Fighters.

Fighters is the best docu on boxing that I've seen. It had a horrid review in BM a decade or so ago, citing poor production values and criticising it for not being eye candy enough, if I remember right. Thought that review was well off the mark, missing he point really. Mullan was far more praiseworthy and I agreed with his glowing review.

Alright mate, I have the following Jason Rowland fights on vhs (recorded from sky)

vs Mark Winters, Brian Coleman, Alan Temple, Jon Thaxton, Ricky Hatton (all I believe are full length fights) and highlights of Jason's fight against Baranov.
