Brahmer vs Garay.

A fight that will probably get zero responses, but I am looking forward to this one. Always been an admirer of Brahmer's talent, but it seemed to be psychologically he was never meant to make it. Its been a long road, but I have seen an improvement since the Viet shocker - I think he needed that kick up the arse.

He has a good champion in Garay, a man who beat Erdei twice in the eyes of most - any views on this one... I partly want Garay to win, cause I fear the title will remain in Germany should Brahmer win.

Thought Garay looked excellent against Erdei and I gave both fights to the Argie, I don't really rate Erdei too highly, and on form Garay should win this 1.

I haven't seen Brahmer but anyone who loses to Veit should lose to Garay, but boxing doesn't always work that way. Speaking of which anyone who gets beat twice by Peden should lose to Barrera but Campbell should dominate the smaller man. How does everyone else see that 1, can anyone see Barrera turning the clock back?

Barrera - yes I think he has enough left to beat Campbell in a good one... Campbell could "go" at any time.

I think it was a "learning" defeat for Brahmer, he came back and showed his authority in the return and won decisively. I think he was sitting on his laurels in the first fight.

Garay might need to stop Brahmer to win.

1 thing about this is you have to wonder even if Garay does come out on top in a close but clear 1 if he'll get the verdict from the wined and dined judges

The Veit loss looks bad though(although he avenged it) and Argentinian only has split decision losses to Erdei in Germany, I see home advantage giving the German the edge

Veit boxed well the night he beat Brahmer and if I recall he stayed positive after getting knocked down early. In the rematch Brahmer left nothing to chance and smashed Veit. I think the first was an off night and that Brahmer can box his way to a surprisingly comofrtable win in this one. Is Garay as good as he think, based on the Erdei fights?

Braehmer has the talent, Garay has the toughness and workrate.

Hope Braehmer wins it. He'll probably get all the help he needs, at home. If Garay was a puncher I'd give the visitor a chance, but he isn't really.

The Germans really seem to be going after every title from super middle up to cruiserweight, don't they? Heck of a lot of actiivty (Kessler-Haussler & Sartison, Larsen-Bute potentially, Inkin-Zuniga, Inkin-Balzsay upcoming; all the Erdei-Barashian-Garay-Braehmer stuff; Arslan-Guilleromo Jones, Alexeev on the verge of a title shot, etc etc). They can really get their fighters in the rankings, whether they deserve to be or not, those Gerrys!
