I only saw bits and pieces of the fight, but Hatton looked good. I saw him land some nice punches.

I agree, but some do view the forums after a fight, most use SPOILERS though.

Excellent display from Matthew, looked sharp and his hand speed seemed to be a good bit quicker. Is Floyd handling his day to day stuff - he wasn't in the corner, but he seems to have benefited alot from the new change.

Actually did a better job, albeit against an older version, of Tackie than his brother did.

It was seen as a risky fight for Matt but Matt did a superb job and won well. He will have bags of confidence now when he returns to the domestic scene.

I thought Tackie looked very poor, didn't get his shots off at all. To give Hatton credit, that was undoubtedly partially due to his movement and activity but I don't think you can compare the 35y.o. Tackie to the one that fought his brother.

The commentators said that Lee Beard is Matthew Hatton's trainer. I'd assume Mayweather Sr is only with Ricky.

Agree completely. Almost every time there's a fight on tape delay, you get somebody crowing about the result being revealed on here. Well, get a clue! If you want to avoid a boxing result, don't visit a boxing site! But now it's gone a stage further and we suddenly have to label LIVE televised fights with "spoiler". WTF...

People should be able to check the boxing forum without the concern of spoilers in titles. That said, I don't answer the phone, remove the radio from the gym and hide in my flat until I've watched it. But I'm less of a daredevil.

Good result on paper, improved level of boxing from him.

But Tackie's a light welter, Hatton is a guy who fights OVER the welter limit. He was considerably the bigger man in there and Tackie has seen better days. Felt that they were taking a leaf out of Oscar and even Ricky (get me Pac, get me Marquez) Hatton book, i.e. a name is a name, who cares if the opponent is smaller, it will still make you look better.

If I am exaggerating the size difference between Matton & Tackie please feel free to object.

I reckon an out of the ordinary style will always cause him great trouble. If guys like Brook, Watson (who already beat Matton) are the Br/Cw champs, then I don't see him getting a belt.

Anyone think the judging was bullshit? Tackie won AT LEAST 4 rounds, clearly the judges knew who their pay masters were and took no chances. I don't object to Matthew getting the W (although it could easily have been a draw) but the judging was well off and if Hatton had fought shit and managed to lose to Malignaggi on a fair persons card (I had him winning every round) I'm sure he would have got the verdict. I HATE BOXING CORRUPTION :witzend:

That aside good boxing display by Matthew, but I can't see him going near Kell Brook, he'd get massacred

I just can't see that fight being made - Warren fighter v Punch Promotions - unless of course its a purse bids situation.
