Jackiewicz's ranking

For some reason Polish welterweight Rafal Jackiewicz, who won his recent fight against undefeated Jan Zaveck, dropped 12 places to 23rd, on the other hand his opponent went 29 places up to 25. That looks like the result of the bout was registered the other way round. Can anybody please explain?

Also the home promoter advantage had something to do with this... as that movement was quite extreme.

jackiewicz lost that fight, Zaveck had clear advantage till last 3 rounds (5 pts imo), he may lost all last 3 rounds (which were also very hard to score) but still should win. 116-113 for jackiewicz was a joke.

Well, everybody knows if you wanna beat the champ, especially on his ground, you have to be a clear winner. Just look at what happens in any fights organized in Germany. But of course this bout was close and draw would probably be fairer score which would make the Pole keep his belt anyway.
But this was not my point. I still cannot understand how beating undefeated opponent can bring the winner's ranking down and loser's up. That's against common sense and looks like a system fault.

a loss taking you 29 places up and win against undefeated boxer taking you 12 down seem common sense to you?

Yes of course, would you really expect a boxer who squeezed out a split decision over a boxer ranked 30 places below him to go up ? Would that be fair on the boxers who were ranked above ?
