Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
Rhodes should be higher in fairness, as should Ian Napa.
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
Yes. 1st of the month, every month.MatthewS wrote:Is it that time again already?
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
He has picked up a few decent wins recently. He is the mandatory for Elcock's British title, so if he wins that then he will enter the list.sligobhoy67 wrote:Matthew Macklin?
He will have to rebuild with a few solid wins after his recent loss.sligobhoy67 wrote:Andy Lee?
If he beats Yuri Foreman later this month then he might have a chance of entering the list.sligobhoy67 wrote:James Moore?
Seriously? He has beaten no one with a winning record and has been knocked out in the first round in one of his fights. Nowhere near a place on the list.sligobhoy67 wrote:Henry Coyle?
He has beaten a few decent names recently, and is one of the leading contenders for a place on the list. If he beats Lynes on Friday then he should enter the list.sligobhoy67 wrote:Paul McCloskey?
Looks like a decent prospect. But not a contender for a place just yet.sligobhoy67 wrote:Dean Byrne?
His best win is over Peter McDonagh, he will have to up the quality of his opposition before I can enter him.sligobhoy67 wrote:Andrew Murray?
Patrick Hyland has got to beat someone decent before I consider entering him, and Paul Hyland lost his last fight.sligobhoy67 wrote:Patrick and Paul Hyland?
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
I would love to see Napa and Munroe above Arthur.
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
I thought McIntyre getting knocked out in one round was worse than Williams' loss.stujones wrote:Danny Williams still in the top 30!
Michael Jennings? His win over Jason Rushton was not good enough for him to re-enter the list. If he beats Cotto, then I am sure he will make it back into the list again.stujones wrote:and still no sign of the #1 Welterweight.
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
I thought people might have said that I had put him up too high after his recent win. I didn't think he was very impressive really, and I think that a five place leap was about all his win was worth.Beeston Brawler wrote:Rhodes needs to go up!

Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
Noted it was not the most exciting fight but i thought he boxed the most intelligent fight of his life but 5 places is a good jump.Horse wrote:I thought people might have said that I had put him up too high after his recent win. In my opinion Khan has beaten better opposition than Rhodes recently.daddy-rhino wrote:I agree he is now british and wbc international champion but yet amir kahn is above himBeeston Brawler wrote:Rhodes needs to go up!
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
Rhodes is popular this month, but he has not beaten one of the other top domestic Light Middleweights: Moore, Pryce, Small, Facey or McDonagh. I am still to be convinced that he is as good as some others claim.Captain Hook wrote:Rhodes should be higher in fairness, as should Ian Napa.
Napa has only just won the European title. So I thought I should give Munroe the benefit of the doubt and keep him above Napa, as Munroe has made two defences of his European title already.
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
Unbeaten Commonwealth champ Darren Barker is deservedly higher to i think.
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
Yes, both are close to a place in the top 30. If Truscott can beat Simpson in their proposed fight next year, then that will probably be enough to get him in the list.jake the snake wrote:paul truscott and ricky burns both commonwealth champs both beat akaba who beat world ranked munyai ,must be close to the 30.
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
There is a good chance that could happen in the next few months.Dioufy wrote:I would love to see Napa and Munroe above Arthur.

If Barker beats McKay later this month then I can move him up a few places.G0mez wrote:Unbeaten Commonwealth champ Darren Barker is deservedly higher to i think.
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
Will rogan and mccloskey be in with a shout of making the top 30 next month?
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
McCloskey should be, Rogan shouldn't be
Re: British Top 30 P4P December 2008
McCloskey is very likely to be in next month's list. Rogan is not likely to be in next month's list.metropol wrote:Will rogan and mccloskey be in with a shout of making the top 30 next month?
That is pretty much how I see it.Coco wrote:McCloskey should be, Rogan shouldn't be
