Will Audley Harrison quit now?
Will Audley Harrison quit now?
No mention of yesterday's debacle on his website. Surely not even A-Farce can convince himself or anybody else that he is a serious contender anymore.
Well done to Rogan, though!

He should get a job coaching for the 2012 Olympics...probably the sport of boxing.

Re: Will Audley Harrison quit now?
He should (he should have quit in 2005), but he won't.
Apparently the donkeys (that's anybody with any rational thought who dares to rightly criticise him) are wrong & he's going to be world champion.................................................................probably on Fight Night 3 (XBOX 360 or PS3), but certainly not in real life!![[icon_e_surprised.gif] :oo](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)

Re: Will Audley Harrison quit now?
I think if he was given opporttunities he would continue, but I can't see any promoters willing to invest money in him. And he hasn't achieved enough in the pro's to be given any sort of title shot even as an opponent.
Also Harrison has earned well, will have plenty of opportunties on reality tv, he doesn't need the cash to continue.
He does have some thing to offer the amateur game though

Yes, absolutely.
The man is so deluded, I can barely bring myself to look at him now...total waste of skin.

Re: Will Audley Harrison quit now?
There isn't a person on the planet that can infuriate me like Audley does
I spend the majority of the time shouting "JAB!" at the screen. He shows glimpses of how good he could be offensively when he opens up and lets his hands go, but he doesn't do anywhere near enough of it. His jab would be a dangerous weapon if he could use it more often and he seems to reluctant to throw the BIG counter righthand. His poor workrate has been his main problem for years and he doesn't seem to be able to address it.
I'd love to see Audley put a run of results together and do well, more so than any other boxer, but any optimism has been systematically crushed over time.
I've been a fan of Audleys since Sydney 2000 and always will be, but it's fcuking hardwork.
The way Audley was speaking last night there's no way he is retiring at the moment and the decision is solely his

Re: Will Audley Harrison quit now?
If he can't beat Rogan, Guinn and Sprott then who is he going to beat?
Haye, Klitshko x 2, Rahman, Peter?! He'd keel over and pass out in the dressing room.
He has the ability, he doesn't have the mental toughness or stamina, or heart.
Goodbye Audley, I've given up....

Re: Will Audley Harrison quit now?
Harrison with the guts and attitude of Skelton could have got there, he has the skills but he just doesnt have the mind of a top fighter. He is afraid of being hit, whereas being hit, fires up the likes of Skelton even more. Harrison needs to quit right now, what is the point of carrying on. He isnt good enough at domestic level so his career as a pro is over as I see it. Nobody wants to see him fight again and Warren knows it so this has to be his final bout.
Re: Will Audley Harrison quit now?
Williams 3 might still happen, and Williams is the British champ still!

Ordinary says he's going back to the drawing board again.
I guess the draughtsman will be working on a 1/1 scale drawing of a journeyman
