Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
Klitschko @ 11/2 to win on points with bet365 seems to be on the large side.
Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
Hmm, I dunno. I don't think Rahman will last the distance in this one. I know Wlad can be a bit (OK, very) cautious at times, but he's on home turf for this one, and Rahman hasn't looked good for a long, long time now. And he wasn't that good to begin with.

Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
I just think its a bit of value considering skybet go 2/1 for the same selection, Klitschko isn't exactly aggressive and it took him 11 rnds to beat Thompson last time out, I would like to think Rahman has a bit more ring savvy than him.
Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
Wlad has said that he will try to get Rahman out of there quickly.

Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
Wlad's a big favourate and I pick him, but I wonder if lightening can strike in the same place twice, Rahman will be up for this as his last big shot so he may be back to his best, he can bang, hes done it before against Lennox and Wlad has been smashed by Sanders
Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
If Rahman went at him like he went at Meehan he would scare Wlad to death and possibly pull off the upset. Maybe he'll be inspired by this unexpected last chance, probably worth a flutter of as much as you don't mind losing.

You can get 8/1 on a Rahman KO, I just don't fancy Klitschko to engage to much against a still dangerous opponent, that's why I think the 11/2 on the points win is far to big.

Bet365 have now adjusted their book and go 3/1 for the points win.
Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
rahman getting ate up in 7 rounds.
Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
Rahman's washed up and is nowhere near the dangerous proposition he once was. He shouldn't even be getting this shot and only is because there's virtually zero risk attached.

I couldn't really give two hoots now, I backed it at 11/2 I will lay it off at 3/1 for a guaranteed profit.....free money.

Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
An ultra cautious Wlad will pick off Rahman before the right hands grind him down about half way I'd guess.
Though hopefully, to make it a good fight, Rahman will throw caution to the wind and try a fast start to see if he could get lucky - which he could...
Worrying to see that Bowe is on the undercard.....surely they're not thinking.....?

Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
I'm thinking the same on both of those things, I would rather see Rahman just come out and go for it early, just to see someone connect with Wlads chin again . But can see Wlad contolling a tired Rahman for a mid round ko.MightyWarrior wrote:An ultra cautious Wlad will pick off Rahman before the right hands grind him down about half way I'd guess.

Bowe v Holyfield IV in Germany strikes me as entirely more likly with Golota to face the winner.....
Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
effing hell, I just realised Big Daddy Bowe is fighting on this card.
There is some morbid curiousity value I suppose, but this is not good. Wonder if Setanta will broadcast this far down the bill.

Wlad will chop down Rahman inside the first four. Rahman will be fat and will be there for the paycheck, he knows he has nothing left.
Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
I can't see Wlad taking Rahman out with a single right but I can see him wearing down the very tired and busted up Rahman within eight rounds. Rahman was blowing after three against Toney, and taking this fight and at late notice won't help.

by the way guys - Wlad by KO is 8/15 with Skybet. Great odds for a foregone conclusion, if i have the balls to lump huge it would erase my Oisin Fagan debacle...

Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
Dont mention the words 'Oisin' or 'Fagan' round here, EVER.
Rahman was getting wobbled by Toney last time out, hes fat, slow, chin gone & in it for the cash. He'll fall over as soon as Wlad connects with a shot.
No upset here at all.

Klitschko weighed 245 pounds.
Rahman weighed 254 pounds.

Rahman is in perfect shape...
...to sit down and pick up a paycheck.

That has to be the biggest white T-shirt in Western Europe.
You could use it as a tarpaulin on an aircraft carrier.
Oh, & Wladdy over the fatboy in three. Sparko...

Rahman doesn't look at all interested. I've backed Wlad at 5-1 in rounds 1-3 at bet365

Re: Wladimir Klitschko V's Hasim Rahman
I have to say - in his face Rahman still looks quite young. He must be in his mid/late 30's now. Yet he could still pass for 28.
Not that this has anything to do with it.
Rahman with a massive T shirt, although Rahman fat doesn't always mean Rahman bad... argueably his career best performance (cause he fought for 12 rounds) came in the Tua rematch and he was all rolls then.
