Is Hatton v Pacman confirmed for June21st?

Post by whicker »

Right, is there any "official" confirmation that Pacman is fighting Hatton on June 21st? Oddschecker have odds up from lots of bookmakers.

If there is an obvious thread about this that I have missed, sorry!

It's not been confirmed as far as I'm aware, last I heard PBF was thinking about coming back and I'd imagine he'd leapfrog Hatton in the queue

Depends really.

The Mayweather fight is worth more if he beats Hatton in style first. Imagine Paqcuiao going into that fight having done a more comprehensive job on BOTH Hatton and DLH than Mayweather did. The interest would be through the roof for probably the two best fighters of the last 5 years.

I reckon he takes Hatton in the summer and Mayweather takes the winner in the winter.

Is that a "fight by" date?

Sometimes bookies cover themselves as the odds could be much different if they both fought someone else in the summer and then faced each other in December.

I've got alot more interest in Hatton-Pacman now that he's gave DLH a good sound thrashing, so I'm hoping the fight happens, but if Hatton wins it blows a Pac-PBF megafight out of the water, so Floyd might want to get his hands on Pac straight away.

Floyd-Manny would be an awesome fight, hopefully it gets made below 147 though

Bob Arum has said Pacquiao could be fighting Zab Judah next. I don't think the Hatton fight is set in stone.

What's the point of that? Judah is just a whipping boy to world class boxers these days.

Arum and Roach are travelling to see Pacquiao this week I think to discuss it.
I doubt Zab Judah-Pac happens, who wants to see that? and there's much more money in PBF or Hatton.
