Slightly OT - I want to backup my boxing DVDs

Post by Boxingnut »

I have loads of boxing DVDs which I have bought off various sellers over the years and I want to back them up. What would be the easiest way to do this?? I have a DVD drive and writer in my PC but what software would I need? Thanks in advance.

Either purchase nero, or download DVD shrink for free.

Well I would recommend the DVD shrink option - I won't say why on a Public forum, but users of Shrink will know why.

Yeah, you want DVD Shrink. Because most boxing DVDs are older they don't have the latest encryption, but if they do, you can use DVD Decrypter to copy them to your hard drive. From there, Shrink will do what it says on the tin, and make them fit onto regular DVDs.

There's also DVDFab HD for getting anything new onto your hard drive. These programs are all freeware.
