It doesn't matter that he could only muster a bronze compared to Chunky Degale's gold; Sutherland looks a menacing pro prospect.

I know who's pro signature I would rather have!

As others have said, comes acros really well in interviews - genuine and grounded.

A little stiff and maybe lacking in speed to compete with the world's elite but nonetheless a cracking domestic/euro level fighter. Who knows, maybe he can go all the way?..

Paul Hyland looked very tidy and boxed with good avriety on the undercard. Dapa Napa would probably know too much for him right now but at 24 Hyland has plenty of good years in front of him.

Its always hard for a boxer on their debut, but Darren got the job done, showed a heavy jab, and obviously cracks hard with the right hand. Needs to move his head a bit more, but we will know more about him in the next few months

Nice guy Paul, quality boxer too. Maybe slightly green for Napa but can still put up a valid argument. Watch out for Patrick Hyland who I think is the dark horse of the brothers and can mature into a very good fighter as well.

i like the look of sutherland very much, he looks the part, great following, heavy hands, affable character and a nice pro style too.

i loved the way he took his time, his opponent pressed 'gamble' many times early on but darren just waited till he had run out of coins !!!.....

Looked good and worked a nice jab....to strong. You could tell he tried to stretch the fight longer and didn't just jump on him.

good to see a prospect who keeps his hands up!....i like him, both his style and personality.....there is a long way to go and a lot of questions to be answered but i will be rooting for him all the way to answer those questions and go all the way

Sutherland got off to the perfect start. I've seen a lot easier opponents for a pro debut than that, but Sutherland chopped him down to size very quickly

Looks very promising and early signs indicate he could be a real crowd pleaser.

He looked alright, but he always was going to do against that type of opponent. The one thing that caught my eye about him was how composed he was when he had his man hurt - he took his time and found the right shots. He's going to be an awesome finisher.
