Former British Champion Vince Hawkins dies at 85.

Hawkins held the British middleweight title when it still had International acclaim, he had some impressive victories, and at one time approx 70 fights without defeat and was, at his peak - Ranked No. 2 middleweight in the world, with contemporaries like LaMotta, Burley and company.

Man that's 3 Ol Boys whom I thought were dead already that I could have met with, who untill recently were still alive. Hawkins, Johhny McGrory & top British fight reporter Frank Butler.

WHO else is still alive from that Golden Age.

R.I.P Vince.
