Hatton v Pacquaio Who's going?

Post by jamesmcdonnell »

I wondered who's going to go to the fight. I'm going to be in Vegas that weekend as I'm going to a wedding in SF the next weekend.

Don't see me shelling out nearly 400 quid for a ticket mind - but they should have it on closed circuit

These must be the most expensive tickets I've ever seen for a boxing match, ringside is nearly 13,000 dollars!

Anyway if anyone's going let me know.

Well, I think this will be resolved one way or other - they both stand to make too much money for the fight.

I may go, but it might have to be a toss up between this and Cotto v Margarito II.

James, the ticket prices are typical using market touts. Pacman v DLH was $27,600.

If anyone knows what the real prices are when they go on sale, please let me know.

Oh right, I see, these are non official prices. I see.

I might just get mine from the Grand Garden Arena direct in that case.

The good thing is TR fight tickets are reasonably priced. The bad thing is GBPs aren't.

My guess is the tickets will sell out in around 5 mins.

Closed circuit is usually $50 from when I've been in Vegas

Closed circuit will be cool - does anyone know whether they have closed circuit at the MGM itself?

Cotto-Marg 2 :TU:
You got the Hall of fame inductions and the tickets will be much easier to get hold of and cheaper than Pac Hatton.

Yes, they do. At both MGM Mirage Casinos.

Best get there early, the queues were huge in all Vegas casinos to buy the closed circuit tickets for ODLH vs. PBF, they sold out in minutes. The queue in Mandalay Bay was enormous.

Am SO tempted to go to this...never been to Vegas or to a fight as big as this.
Extremely tempted to book a hotel etc now before the fight is officially announced as I assume the hotel prices will rocket after that.

HAs anybody stayed at the MGM before???

Yep, I've stayed there. Great hotel, quite reasonable, but will be expensive over the weekend of the fight. The rooms are absolutely massive, and the hotel is one of the better ones on the strip with a big casino and lots of ameneties.

Thanks for the info! Had a look on the net and prices seem pretty good at the mo so I might just gamble and book now!!!! Would probably make it into a 5 or 6 nighter so I can get to see the Grand Canyon etc.

Tempted to buy a ticket for the fight itself but wouldn't want to pay more than 150 to 200 notes for that!

I'm not sure, I would say I'm split 60/40 at the moment.
