It's his new Schwinn (is it correct spelling?) bike. Did his pop buy it for him?

The 12-year old Clay was very upset and met a patrol police officer, Joe Martin who owned "Columbia" boxing gym in Louisville.

Hmmm, the spelling is a little off on that. If by schwinn you were trying to spell Mongoose then you were correct.

The exact model was a Mongoose "dyno" series. the dirt/street tiral bike. Part of the mongoose company was bought by another company which adopted the name DYNO and now make BMX bikes.

Technically you could say Ali rode a DYNO but it was a Mongoose back then.
