The Nevada State Golden Gloves Amatuer Championships were held at The Silver Nugget in North Las Vegas Saturday night. A pretty good crowd of friends, relatives and fans turned out to cheer the boys on as they fought for the state titles. The results were as follows:

155 lbs Jonathan Candido (Barry's) over Sakhi DurMohammed (Henderson PAL) - Points
165 lbs Bradley Blankenship (Elite Boxing) over Martines Porter (Tocco's) - Points
178 lbs Hasim Rahman Jr. (Barry's) over Thierry Bennett (Steele's Boxing) - Points
