Credit to Frank Maloney
Credit to Frank for selling tickets directly through his site, and only charging postage and not a booking fee. Other promotors use ticketseller type sites that sometimes charge a booking fee, transaction fee AND postage. One I think even charges for emailing tickets!
Re: Credit to Frank Maloney
Thats great , I have to pay €5 service charge for my Bernard Dunne ticket
Re: Credit to Frank Maloney
Thumbs up from me.
Re: Credit to Frank Maloney
You do have to pay a booking fee.
I recently purchased 2 tickets for Maloney's show in Stoke. The tickets cost £35 each and I paid an additional £4.90 for "postage" via Paypal. I then received an email from someone from Maloney promotions to say that my tickets would be left on the door for me to collect.
That aside I enjoyed the show, in spite of the postponements to Napa Euro defence, Thompson-Kotey Commonwealth eliminator and Lawton-Castle for the English title. It was also the first time I took my nine year-old lad to a boxing show and he absolutely loved it.

I saw it was £2.35 or something, I assumed that was per order, not per ticket though. That might be to cover paypal fees.
I've reserved tickets to collect at the door before, I didn't have to pay postage or even pay in advance. That was (Sean Hughes v Esham Pickering.)
To be honest if a venue is free seating, it is easy enough just to get tickets on the night.

it was great to see frank in the celebrity big brother house, that electric cart he was driving himself around on seemed to piss everyone off, and when he kissed that doll...yuk, come on frank, you can do better than that. but i did like him dressed up as lionel ritchie.

I've only had very good experiences with matchroom too. No postage payment, no booking fee and really pleasant, helpful people when you ring up.
Unfortunately these days this stands out as exceptional!
