Credit to Frank for selling tickets directly through his site, and only charging postage and not a booking fee. Other promotors use ticketseller type sites that sometimes charge a booking fee, transaction fee AND postage. One I think even charges for emailing tickets!

You do have to pay a booking fee.

I recently purchased 2 tickets for Maloney's show in Stoke. The tickets cost £35 each and I paid an additional £4.90 for "postage" via Paypal. I then received an email from someone from Maloney promotions to say that my tickets would be left on the door for me to collect.

That aside I enjoyed the show, in spite of the postponements to Napa Euro defence, Thompson-Kotey Commonwealth eliminator and Lawton-Castle for the English title. It was also the first time I took my nine year-old lad to a boxing show and he absolutely loved it.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh....

I saw it was £2.35 or something, I assumed that was per order, not per ticket though. That might be to cover paypal fees.

I've reserved tickets to collect at the door before, I didn't have to pay postage or even pay in advance. That was (Sean Hughes v Esham Pickering.)

To be honest if a venue is free seating, it is easy enough just to get tickets on the night.

I've only had very good experiences with matchroom too. No postage payment, no booking fee and really pleasant, helpful people when you ring up.

Unfortunately these days this stands out as exceptional!
