Olympians Debuts Opponents?

Post by whicker »

Any news on who the Olympians might be facing? Hard to speculate really, usually big name debuts are not given the most durable journeymen, they are more likely give guys they can stop.

I can see a few Europeans being brought over.

So......

DeGale's opponent 9-8 (5 ko's)
Gavin's 5-3 (0 ko's)
Saunders 12-12 (5 ko's)

Well Saunders has a decent test as his first fight, Molnar should extend him a few rounds.

Vepkhia Tchilaia for DeGale, so he's got a good chin as well. i can see a distance fight here.

Gavin gets the easiest debut for me, George Kadaria hasn't been stopped, but then he's a lightweight, and not been with too many decent names

Perfectly fine debut fights arent they. First ten will probably be around this level give or take.

Yeah, they look OK. I agree, too, this sort of opponent will probably be their career path for a while, plus British journeymen. It might be difficult to maintain interest in all three with fights like this, so we might see some slightly touger fights too.
