I'm gonna go for a surprise choice to many i guess... Billy Boyle.
If he done the weight easy, i think his strength and non stop punching will be suited to the three round distance..he just throws non stop when he's in scheduled 8 rounders!!!

Worth a bet on his odds.

I've had a punt on Bob Ajisafe today at 9/2, he is from Darlington like me an he is a good prospect. At 23yr old he should walk 9 rounds if need be. He has some power there too.
Bit sick the bookies had him 3rd favourite I was hopin for more of a steal. There's another thread going on this event and there is a good mix of opinion, partly cos like me people are pickin who they know, have seen, local to them etc.....For example: I follow a lot of boxing but I couldn't tell you much about, say Courtney Fry....even less about Billy Boyle or Carl Dilks.
I'm quietly confident.

What about shon Davis ? He is the outside choice, but he does have a decent enough record, having mixed with some well matched opponents.

There's a lot of Bob's out there Ian in Darlington's defence. This way we all know which one we're on about

is this thing seeded cos it seems to me that Courtney Fry (if he gets to the final ) will get more rest than BB if he does. Mind you I suppose someone has to box first and second.
I heard from someone present that Chris Burton got hardly any rest compared to Sam Sexton last time.
Mind you, 23 yr old Bob versus 33 yr old Courtney (if of course the Bookies are owt to go by - which they haven't got right once yet in the whole Prizefighter series) - i don't think fitness will be an issue for our Bob. Come on Bob

I still feel Fry is no value at such a short price, he looked decent beating Tony Salam, but I remember Salam was actually winning that fight early on, so over a quick 3 rounds Fry would have been out. He seems to have a more laid back style which means I defo will be havin a tenner each on Ajisafe (7/1 with willy hills) and Oakey(5/1 a couple of places).

Prizefighter is not boring, Its very enjoyable. Competitive matches its good experince for prospects and people who are in last chance saloon imo.

Oakey is a slow starter, can he change his ways to come out firing?
I've not seen Boyle box yet, but going by what people have said he may pull off an upset, but then again if Oakey can get to him a bit before the fight starts , maybe the nerves will play a part for Boyle.

I fancy Fry to come through in this.
