I don't know if Prescott is faster, I have seen him fight three times and he seems pretty slow and plodding. I think Barrera may be better all around but Prescott's power punching makes him a harder opponent for the glassed chin Khan. If Prescott and Barrera were to fight I see MAB out boxing him but eventually getting caught with something. In his prime he would have toyed with him.

Really dno't know much ab out Prescott.

It's is not like Khan was schooled throughout the bout, he was KO due to a complete lack of Defence and walking straight into Prescott.

If Khan did that to most Pro's, he'd be KO'd still. So it's hard to rate Prescott considering he did what the majority of Pro's would do to a target moving towards them with hands down

In Prescotts previous bout he faced a guy with good defense who did nothing but move in Richard Abell and he looked very unimpressive, I thought he was lucky to get a decision.

Prime for prime, I would have to say no to that last one. As for the harder punch, probably Prescott even prime for prime, though we have to think in the current, and that being said, Prescott is at this time a much more challenging opponent than Barrera for top lightweights. Barrera is not a top fighter anymore, just a popular name. Just my two cents.

Prescott is a heavy handed bloke but 10 fight Cuban prospect Richard Abril boxed him well & showed how ordinary he can be.

HOWEVER -- Abril got a broken jaw and was tagged with several big shots, luckily he has a good chin. Anyone who beats Prescott will need to be able to take a whack. . .

there's still nothing to suggest prescott is a huge hitter. No difference between him and Bobby Gunn, that 'big hitting' scrub Fury just beat up on, even someone with designs on bigger things like hurricane mcneely. they all beat up and stopped bums, and I'm sure many of them looked like killers doing so the way their low level opponents went down.

prescott has many many KO's, you can pad a record with TKO's but not KO's

......what Barrera are we basing this on?......it is an insult to a boxing forum to suggest that we are comparing Prescott to the Barrera of a few years ago, let alone to the baby faced assasin at his peek (well i guess that he was a super bantam/featherweight makes it less comparable)......even the Barrera who went 12 rounds in survival mode vs Manny is better than anything we have seen of Prescott....

....Five US shows re-runs of ESPN friday night fights.....recently i saw Prescott in his fight previous to the Khan destruction.....he barely won, looked very slow and one dimensional.....Khan played right into his hands......it could just be that Prescott is little more than a step up from a shot Michael Gomez
