Lee beard was saying only yesterday that Hatton is in good shape already.
How he still has his 6 pack - I now know he must have meant he had beers under his t-shirt.

Re: Hitman - Pacman presser
kinda looks a little worrying for hatton going by the pic how long can he get away with this. Fancy hatton for the win think he ll be too strong but feel hattons going to come unstuck at some point big time. Just hope not against pac man, dont think his lifestyle has caught up with him yet but surely only a matter of time. If not think a few of these sport scientists will need to go back to the drawing board they ve been predicting his down fall for a long time. Reading how bad going up and down in weight like hatton has done for years is for the body after the floyd defeat but have yet to see the downfall.

Liam Gallagher is well hard.

Good to see the fight promoted like this, as sg1985 says. Makes a change.

Did pacquiao say it was his first time in the UK, does anyone have a transcript or is there one anywhere saying that??
Re: Hitman - Pacman presser
The only fight I can remember Hatton not really bloating up to the degree was the Floyd Mayweather fight.bbjc wrote:kinda looks a little worrying for hatton going by the pic how long can he get away with this. I don't think Sport Scientists have been predicting his downfall, if they have then they are wrong. Boxing is as much psychological as it is physical, and Hatton feels comfortable doing it this way. He does it the right way in the lead up to a fight and thats the main thing. Infact, a recharge of the batteries is encouraged.
Steve Jones, the former world record holder of the marathon was practically an alcoholic.... but he would only drink in moderation in the season. Hatton is essentially doing off season and on season.. and aslong as his on season is done well - then he should be around for a while. When he gets older, he might need to lengthen his on season and yes it will take his told eventually, but not at 30. He's not going to be around at 43 for sure, but that also has alot to do with his fighting style.
Of course he is more likely to suffer from a heart attack or something like that, than the average boxer.

Hatton doesn't look too chunky to me in those pics?

Re: Hitman - Pacman presser
Hattons just built that way, like a little oxo cube, short and stocky. in the flesh he wears the fat quite well, doesnt look podgy just a bit of a lump. Its his chins that make it look worse.
I got a feeling rickys gonna do this!!!!
And yes, so nice to see two gentlemen promote the fight. (And fans for that matter). Didnt enjoy "the mayweather experience" at all.

Re: Hitman - Pacman presser
Hatton looks in decent shape right now compared to some of the pics I've seen over the years. I'm not sure whether its the yo-yo weight issues that are the real problem for Hatton. Personally, I think his punch resistance and general durability are not what they once were. It's probably a combination of his lifestyle plus career and fighting style that have caused this rather than simply piling on the pounds between fights.

you are right, I have seen him bigger at this stage before a fight.Goz wrote:Hatton doesn't look too chunky to me in those pics?
Manny on the other hand looked like he was walking around under 140.
When he turning to the side there was nothing to him.
