...between a couple of fellows who were champs in other weight classifications, but never the prestigious 160lb. division?
1983 Roberto Duran (77-4-0) vs. 1994 Roy Jones (26-0-0)
1983 Roberto Duran (77-4-0) vs. 2001 Felix Trinidad (40-0-0)
Does Duran's edge in experience & competition negate his natural size disadvantage against these men at Middleweight?
Who wins what, fellas?
A Middleweight Box-Off...
Re: A Middleweight Box-Off...
Roy Jones beats Duran by a wide margin, maybe even a late stoppage if Cholo get's really frustrated. Jones is too slick and fast and at 160 Duran can't cut off the ring.
Duran redeems himself against Trinidad though and comes out on top in a back and forth war. Unlike Jones, Trinidad would be in front of Duran too much.

Agree with Seamus. Duran doesn't have the power to worry Jones and is just too small at the weight. Trinidad would be beaen though.

Jones by a wide margin, but not so sure about Tito . . . might go with a decision for Trinidad . . .

Jones would handled Duran fairly easily with his speed and skill. A wide decision unless he can frustrate Duran into quitting.
Duran would have much better luck with Trinidad however, and provided he could steer clear of Tito's power, he wins a close, but clear decision.
