Jimmy Jones is not Ivan Nedomasky

This record is messed up -- apparently the records for Jimmy Jones (nee Nedomasky) and Ivan Nedomasky have been combined.

Ivan was Jimmy's brother. I do know they fought on same card on March 21, 1938 -- Jimmy stopped Georgie Abrams and Ivan defeated "El Brookman" in 6.

If anyone can help separating these conjoined brothers it would be appreciated. I'll start a new record for Ivan with the one fight I am sure of. Ivan, had been Southern Conference am champ and fought in the style of Mickey walker. Ivan turned pro after just missing an Olympic berth, losing in the middleweight finals of the Trials in May 1936.

Taking a look at the weights, some obvious middleweight bouts of are sandwhiched between welter bouts. Indicating two different fighters.

It happens. I had this problem with 2 different Alexander Kravchenko combined together. One was a lightweight from Ukraine another a super middleweight from Belarus.

I know it happens! It is just that I don't have enough info to definitely separate -- the only two bouts so far were dates where the brothers fought on same night.

I will contact Prof. Davis, because he has a couple of fights listed as "Ivan" so i think it i safe to assume those are for Ivan also.
