Whats Next For Paul ''Real Gone Kid'' Smith

Post by Cotto16 »

He's now had 27 fights, 26 wins and 15 ko's and he been on the very popular USA's contender. But yet hasn't fought for no significant title's or even main evented a local show etc Friday Fight Night.

He has got talent as he proved in the amature and i've also heard from a good source he even use to hold his own in sparring with Anthony Farnell and Mathhew ''Magic'' Hatton.

So when he will start fighting top 10 oppostion and fight for real titles and fights that mean something!

Thoughts???

Paul Smith vs Tony Quigley for the British title. That's what should be next. :box:

Absolutely. When he's on top of his game, Smigga is great. You might think I'm mental but if he can put it all together, he could definitely be Euro champ.

Can't see that happening unless it goes to purse bids, but what an incredible fight for Liverpool.

I think Quigley has to face Magee inside 90 days so he may not even hold it for long.

I agree now is the time for Smigga to shine!!

I think he would beat Quigley, he should be looking to fight the winner of the Magee fight at the very least (he should be next).

After all the fights, I bet he was thinking to himself last night that should be me in the ring.

I think Quigley will need a rest after that battle last night.

He's a good fighter with potential but that kid a fortnight ago at the MEN looked a mile out his depth to me. I would like to see a more meaty fight for him at this stage in his career.

I do wonder if Smith does regret not sticking to the states, he did create a bit of a rumble in the contender and might have been better had he stuck to fighting on ESPN esque shows.
