1972 Great Britain Olympians

Great Britain sent out a team of nine to the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, Germany. They came home with three bronze medals from Ralph Evans, George Turpin and Alan Minter. Alan Minter and Maurice Hope would both win professional world titles

• Lightweight - Neville Cole

• Welterweight - Maurice Hope, Hackney, London, ENG
• Light Middleweight - Alan Minter, Crawley, Sussex, ENG
• Middleweight - Billy Knight
