The show took place at the Dunn Sports Center in Elizabeth, NJ on April 8, 1994. Union City Boxing Club won the 1994 NJ Golden Gloves team title with four open class champions (Tony Otero, Julio Cuevas, Marcus Ross and Hugh Holquin) and two novice champions (Juan Ortiz and Jose Sosa). Red Brick Boxing of Newark came in second place with four open champions (Abe Bruno, Pedro Cordova, Chris Conca and Harvey Dock).
Abe Bruno was named the open class MVP of the tournament, Freddy Curiel won the Rocky Marciano Award as Fighter of the Night in the finals, and Keith Salkowitz of Howell PAL was named novice MVP.
