Bout Summary

Stevenson took the tentative opening round as Gonzalez threw very little and appeared to be looking to get a feel for his opponent. A flurry from Stevenson at 1:12 of Round 2 put Gonzalez on the defensive against the ropes. A left hand buckled Gonzalez's knees at 1:29, to which Stevenson came forward and threw a barrage. The referee stepped in and waved an end to the bout with Gonzalez against the ropes and taking punches.
