Had a scheduled bout on August 8, 1922 at Oakland A.A. in Jersey City for 10 rds vs Johnny Green (managed by Joe Wagner) but apparently the bout never happened. "Little" Jackie Sharkey (featherweight) was on the card that night as well to fight Jabez White of Albany but Sharkey apparently broke the contract and was suspended by the NJ State Athletic Commission effective Aug. 17th for violation of contracts and failure to appear before the NJ Commission when ordered to do so. The whole card that night may have been scrapped. Other bout scheduled that night: Jimmy Kirk vs Al Boyle.
