Aleksei Tishchenko
Aleksei Tishchenko (born May 29, 1984) in Omsk, Russian Federation is a Russian amateur boxer. Tishchenko won the Featherweight Gold medal at the 2004 and the lightweight gold 2008 Summer Olympics.
Tishchenko also won the featherweight gold medal at the 2005 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Mianyang, China. As of 2007 he has been elected into the Omsk Regional Duma for United Russia. Tishchenko won a bronze medal at lightweight at the 2007 World Amateur championships in Chicago, qualifying him for the 2008 Beijing Olympic games.
