The Allentown Fair Grounds Arena or Allentown Fairgrounds is a former boxing arena at 302 North 17th Street in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The Fairgrounds were established in 1889 on 46 acres. Boxing originated at the Fairgrounds in 1921, under the promotion of Charles Ettinger who promoted shows there until his retirement in the mid-1940s. After Ettinger's retirement, Claude Zotter briefly promoted there, before Pep Barone took over. Barone continued to promote at the Fairgrounds, until the end of outdoor boxing in Allentown in 1953.
