Summary
In the first round both fighter held back nothing and a left hook by Gevor near the end of the round sent Asikainen to the canvas. In the next few rounds, however, Asikainen got the upper hand and gave Gevor problems. Gevor took command again in round five and opened round seven with an explosive attack that again sent Asikainen to the deck. Asikainen made it back on his feet at the count of eight, but his corner threw in the towel.
