"Karl Zurheide avenged a previous TKO loss to Andy Kendall by scoring a narrow 10 round decision over the Portland, Ore., fighter in a light heavyweight battle Tuesday night at the Milwaukee Eagles Club. There were no knockdowns, but Zurheide was the aggressor most of the way. Zurheide scored effectively with a number of left jabs. The Milwaukee-based fighter opened a cut over Kendall's left eye after the 7th round, but the bleeding stopped before the start of the 8th round. Kendall stepped up the pace in the 10th round and opened up a cut over Zurheide's eye. However, his rally proved futile." -Fond du Lac Reporter
