Angelo Rottoli was born in Presezzo, Lombardia, Italy, on December 14, 1958, and competed from 1981-1990, compiling a record of 29-3-2 (15 KOs/KO by 1).
He won the Italian Heavyweight title in 1983 and the European Cruiserword title in 1989. On February 21, 1987, he made an unsuccessful bid for the WBC Cruiserweight title, losing by fifth-round technical knockout to champion Carlos DeLeon.
Rottoli died of the COVID-19 virus pandemic on March 28, 2020, at the age of 61.
