Anthony Freeman was a super-middleweight, lightheavy fighter from Chester,Pa. Known as Tony "The One and Only" Freeman, he was a squat powerfully built fighter with amazingly fast hands and great power. Although he was a right hander, Freeman fought as a southpaw and had his first 6 scheduled professional fights cancelled by his opposition's managers because of his southpaw style.

Freeman was an All-ARMY Boxing Champion in 1979 and 1980 at supermiddleweight. He won the 1980 VII Corps Boxing Championships in Weisbaden,Germany and was making a bid for the 1980 Olympic team until he hurt his shoulder in a preliminary fight. Freeman's Professional Boxing Record is suspect, because he fought several fights that were not properly recorded, thus his record remains incomplete.
