According to the U.S. National Cemetery Control Internment Forms, 1928-1962 database on the Ancestry.com website, one Arthur P. Padilla was born on April 1, 1907 and died on May 26, 1943. He served overseas in the U.S. Army during World War II and was buried in the Little Falls Cemetery on Attu Island, Alaska before being disinterred and reburied in the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, California during 1948.

On the Ancestry.com website, Barbara Jeanneu Monroy Urso posted a reply to my inquiry which stated that Arthur Padilla Monroy had been a professional boxer based in San Diego, worked on the Hoover Dam and was serving in the U.S. Army when he was killed in action on May 28, 1943 (wrong date?) on Attu Island during the invasion of the Aleutian Islands.- Chuck Johnsto
