Pineda played cat-and-mouse with Favila, letting him come in behind stiff jabs in order to land his hard left which knocked Favila down in the 1st round and finally in the 3rd when after an exchange of punches Pineda landed a short left to put Favila down for good at 2:43 of the round." -Pasadena Star-News
