Ray Lampkin beat Arturo Pineda by MD in round 10 of 10

"Tury Pineda, Mexico, dropped a razor-close split (sic) decision to highly regarded Ray Lampkin after 10 hair raising rounds in Mexicali. The world's number four ranked lightweight, Lampkin, Portland, Oregon, probably won the match as early as the 2nd round when a quick barrage of blows sent the Mexican to the canvas. But Tury bounced back up to cut Ray's right eye, and later proceeded to close his left." -International Boxing, April 1974 issue
