Ashton Donza was the 1919 National AAU bantamweight champion, defeating Jimmy Tomasula for the title. Donza died in New Orleans on October 6, 1952, when he collapsed from a heart attack while refereeing a bout between Ross Virgo and Jackie O'Brien.
