"In the main attraction, Bennie Briscoe, ranking jr. middleweight, disposed of Tito Marshall in 52 seconds of the 1st round. The crowd was greatly disappointed in the quick ending to this return match. In their first fight, in 1965, Marshall won a close 10-round decision. The Panamanian never had a chance against Briscoe in this match. Briscoe started throwing left hooks and right uppercuts to the body - including a few low blows. As Marshall reached over to grab him, Bennie landed a solid left hook to the jaw and Tito dropped to one knee. Marshall then clutched his groin and began complaining to the referee. But referee Frank Cappuccino continued counting to ten." -Ring Magazine, January 1970 issue
