He was born in Koloa, Kauai. He is survived by wife Matilda "Mattie," son Wayne, daughters Charlene Wilson and Diane Martin, brother Serafin G., sisters Rose Stewart and Violet Melvin, nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
