There seems to be two Cobbins fighters from Cincinatti,Ohio, probably brothers. Oliver Cobbins (in boxrec until now) is hereby identified as/ changed to Benton Cobbins, a welterweight. Ollie Cobbins was a featherweight (not in boxrec previously, hereby established).By 1946 Ollie Cobbins was fighting 10-rounders. The record below is probably a mix-up of both the Cobbinses fights.

I have with utmost care removed boxers who are obviously featherweights from the Benton Cobbins record and attributed them to Ollie Cobbins. Benton's weight was 145-149 between December 45 and April 1951. Ollie's 127-135 between Oct 1946 and Oct.1947.Still there are many uncertain fights to be solved.Tron
