A right to the chin in the 1st round, sent DeJohn down for a nine-count. He was floored for a 2nd time for no-count, again, in the 1st round. In the 3rd round, another rigth ahdn to the chine put him down for another nine-count. A right uppercut floored DeJohn for a 4th time in the 9th round, he was subsequently put down for a fifth time in the same round by a left hook; both times for nine counts. The 10th round had barely begun, when Daniels floored DeJohn for a sixth time, on a right hand. After this knockdown, the referee stopped the contest.
