Bo Hogberg 159 lbs beat Arthur Zemla 152 lbs by RTD at 1:40 in round 4 of 10

Bo Hogberg returned to action in his hometown Gothenburg after losing a fight for the European light middelweight title against Sandro Mazzinghi in November 1966. His opponent was Arthur Zemla, 69 kg, record 11-4-4, an Austrian boxer of no particular merit. A lightning right from Hogberg broke the Austrian's jaw in the 4th. Zemla retired in pain and distress. The reporters from local newspaper Goteborgsposten had Zemla ahead on points and found him surprisingly good.

Hogberg (72,3 kg ) was booed loudly as he entered the ring. His former fans felt he had let them down by leaving Gothenborg and living the high life in Stockholm, breaking up his marriage by starting a much published affair with popsinger Anita Lindblom.

This not very important fight received extensive media coverage. Tabloid Expressen had Hogberg on the front page, carrying his girfriend " on the way to the pub to celebrate ". There were pictures of Hogberg and Anita expressing sympathy to a dejected and bandaged Zemla who was on his way to hospital in the chilly February night. " I know how it feels, " Bo said and told of his broken jaw against Yolande Leveque the year before. " Hardly a consolation for the unhappy Zemla, " Expressen wrote acidly. Zemla never fought again.
