"Abel Cestac, Argentine heavyweight, dropped a bruising 10 round decision to Bob Baker, Pittsburgh, before 10,000 fans in the Cleveland Arena Monday. It was a close battle with Cestac's long rights winning him four rounds. However, Baker was a sharper puncher and scored with left hooks to the body during the infighting to pile up a point margin and preserve his record of never having suffered defeat as a pro. Cestac's odd style bothered Baker during the first round and Cestac scored with several long rights to the head. One of his blows brought blood to Baker's nose, but in the 8th round Baker threw a left hook which cut a wide gash in Cestac's nose. Baker's best round was the 10th when he drove Cestac around the ring with lefts and rights to the head. Both boys were slugging strong at the finish." -Associated Press
