Kid Riviera 226 lbs drew with Bob Baker 215 lbs by SD in round 10 of 10
- Date: 1951-11-13
- Location: Cincinnati Gardens, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
- Referee: Earl Butler
- Judge: Joe Craven 43-49
- Judge: Milt Conver 48-46.5
- Judge: Willie Purcell 44-44
"Pittsburgh's Bob Baker still is undefeated in heavyweight boxing circles but his record bears considerable tarnish today. Kid Riviera of Chicago, who carried around a lot of excess fat into the ring, held Baker to a 10 round draw here last night before a crowd of only 2,635 fans who rattled around a bit in the big Cincinnati Garden. The draw came after Baker had won 25 straight professional fights. Baker was the sharper puncher but he couldn't get away from Riviera to get in damaging blows." -Associated Press
- Unofficial AP scorecard - 6-4 Baker
- Baker's manager, Chris Dundee, objected to the draw stating Baker did all the leading and claiming that an unnamed individual was talking to one of the judges during the fight saying that Riviera was winning.
